Notches can be added to any Rod-Pocketed edge, allowing for
additional support where it is notched. EEFX.COM recommends a third support (one
in the center) for spans of 15 feet or longer. Long crossbars have a
tendency to sag if they are not supported in the center. This can
cause rippling and shadowing problems. Notches allow you to add
additional support which insures your backdrop hangs straight. Two
notch options are available.
Rod-pocket notches must be purchased in conjunction with an EEFX.COM chroma key backdrop
and a rod-pocket.

Full Access Notch - 4" wide Notch that extends almost
the full height of the pocket (roughly 3.5" x4"),
allowing
access to the underside of the crossbar. Perfect when combined
with EEFX's center support hardware (call or email to order).

1/2 Access Notch - 3" wide Notch that extends only 1/2
the height of the pocket (roughly 3" wide x 2" tall round notch).
This option works best when rope, ties, or straps are used to pull the crossbar up in the
center. The 1/2 notch gives you more green screen cover at every notch location. |
NOTE: Mounting hardware is sold
separately. Notches are
placed evenly across the rod-pocket. (IE: If you order a single
notch on a 15' pocket, it will be centered at 7.5'. Notches
cannot be placed across a seam. If you order a notch that falls on the center of a seam, your notch will be placed slightly off-set
next to the seam.) |
