EEFX's chroma key Foam-backed backdrops are highly regarded in the film industry for many reasons. Unlike competing paper, paint, and other chroma key fabrics, EEFX's backdrops have a top layer composed of millions of tiny loops that break up the light rays by absorbing and scattering them. This allows you to easily light the backdrop evenly with minimal effort! The foam core also gives our fabric a unique stretchiness and resilience to wrinkles, and a reinforced nylon backing makes it extremely durable. DON'T BE FOOLED BY OTHERS:
MOST other chroma key fabric backdrops are thin, highly susceptible to wrinkles and must be finished on all sides to prevent them from unraveling on the edges. These backdrops are commonly muslin, cotton, polyester or cotton/poly blends. Because of our three layer laminate design, EEFX foam-backed fabric is extremely strong and will not fray or unravel on the edges (See "Durability test" on the left). It is also the thickest, most wrinkle resistant fabric in the industry. Since foam-backed backdrops are NOT dyed after manufacturing, your getting a true Chroma-key backdrop that is machine washable. Our fabric has gained a reputation of being the number one used Chroma-Key material in the industry.

Most other chromakey fabrics fall apart and unravel when cut into strips. Our chromakey green screen and blue screen fabric does not unravel even at a 12mm width. These strips can even pick up 40lbs without tearing or unraveling. EEFX chroma key blue and green screen fabric's strength is unmatchable.

SEAM INFORMATION:
Foam-backed fabric is manufactured in 5' wide rolls for quality control which allows for even and consistent color across every roll. Any chroma key backdrop larger than 5' on one side, will consist of multiple strips professionally over-lock stitched together. This is common practice in the film industry and the seams do not affect the ability to color key. Professional stitching is included at no additional charge. 	Rod-Pockets CLICK HERE to purchase a rod-pocket. Rod-Pockets are a loop sewn at one end of the backdrop to assist with hanging.
	Notches: CLICK HERE to purchase an access notch. These are "C" shaped cutouts on the backdrop's rod-pocket. This is designed to give you access to the pole and assist with hanging. (must be purchase in conjunction with a rod pocket.
	Grommets: CLICK HERE to purchase grommets. Grommets are metal eyelets integrated into the edge of the backdrops. They allow the use of rope, bungee, straps, hooks, and just about anything to hang your backdrops.
	Fully Grommeted Overhead Backdrops: CLICK HERE to purchase backdrops with all four sides grommeted. These overhead backdrops are specially sized to fit inside frames.

CHROMA KEY FOAM-BACKED FABRIC USES:

Highly versatile and easy to use: Our chromakey greenscreens and bluescreens can be easily hung with stands and swept down to the floor without any wrinkles or stretched tight to fit inside a frame. Multiple pieces of foam-backed chroma-key fabric can be sewn together to create larger backdrops.

Specialty Applications:
You can wrap or stretch the chromakey greenscreen and bluescreen fabric around almost anything for temporary coverage or sew it together to make visual effects CLOTHING! In the movie Sleepy Hollow, the actor wore a mask made of chroma key material to create the illusion of a headless horseman. A more common application is creating arm or leg stockings for limb removal. Lieutenant Dan from Forest Gump was placed in chromakey green screen stockings to make it seem as if his legs were amputated.
